A BRIEF HISTORY OF MYSELF
Mallarmé dizia que tudo na vida existe para entrar em um livro. Em termos amplos, acredito que tudo na vida existe para virar histórias. No meu caso, tudo na minha vida foi também para aprender a escrever histórias.
Fiz engenharia mecânica para aprender a ordenar, encaixar e traçar a estratégia das histórias, fui redator publicitário para ter sempre ideias originais, buscar precisão nas palavras e atingir o inconsciente coletivo das pessoas.
Como escritor, meu primeiro romance GO foi escolhido pelo MEC e virou notícia, pois centenas de leitores fizeram tatuagem do título. Após disso, publiquei mais 6 livros, que vão desde poesia e teatro, até histórias em quadrinhos. Fora roteiros de longas, seriados e branded content. Isso vem da minha vocação e aprendizado em criar para qualquer plataforma. Ou melhor, tudo na minha vida me direciona a contar histórias. Seja conteúdo original ou sob medida, vamos conversar.
Como disse, a minha vida é contar histórias.
Mallarmé said that everything in life exists to get into a book. In broad terms, I believe that everything in life exists to become stories. In my case, everything that happened in my life was to teach me how to write stories.
I studied mechanical engineering in college to learn how to order, fit and plot the story. I was an advertising writer to always have original ideas, seek precision of words and reach people’s collective unconscious. As a writer, my first novel, “GO” was chosen by the Education Ministry and made the news, when thousands of my readers tattooed the book title. After that, I published 6 more books ranging from poetry, theater, to comic books, besides movie scripts, series and branded content. It’s my natural talent and also something I learned - to be creative on any platform. Truly, everything in my life headed me to tell stories. Whether it's original or bespoke content, let's talk about it.
Like I said, my life is storytelling.
P.S.: Ah, sou coreano. Além de ter estudado roteiro também por lá, dizem que os melhores roteiristas da atualidade são coreanos. Será a vida me preparando?
P.S.: Oh, I'm Korean. In addition to having studied script there, people say that, nowadays, the best writers are Korean. Maybe that’s what life has prepared me for.
